St. John's Eve Celebration (backdated to the 23rd)
[It's only just stopped raining when Anita lights the bonfire.
She knows this is bad timing. She knows she should probably call the whole thing off. She knows anyone who does show up is probably going to be bruised to hell and back, at best. But it's St. John's Eve and she said there was going to be a party, and if there's one thing Anita is terrible at, it's giving up.
Besides, she did cook an absurd amount of food (with help, of course) and the bonfire is sort of ungodly huge, and she figures that everyone will want sustenance and warmth soon.
She's dressed all in white, as befits her position as host, and before anyone shows up she says the prayers by herself, because she doubts anyone else will want to. That's okay. She's pretty sure the gods will understand, given whole trapped-on-another-world and there's-just-been-a-war-on-the-moon situation.
If you decide to show up to the party outside Community Housing Building 4, there will be a ton of traditional Creole food, some music, a bonfire, and plenty of places to sit in case you're not feeling up to standing. Feel free to mingle!]

Hmm. What you havin' a party or somethin'?
no subject
Yeah, mon. It's for St. John's Eve. I know the timing is bad, but I'd been planning it since weeks before all this stuff happened... I just decided to go ahead with it. Everyone could use some free food and a good fire anyway, right?

You say food? [There's food here?! Okay, that's all he needs to know. He approves of this party.]

or so I assume it would go in that thread. But he's also Run himself ragged for days. And just not that long ago he had a chat with the man himself. He's tired, bone tired and while he's reverted to his human form he knows if he pushed himself he might be able to help out more people trapped here and there.Might.
But he decides that he said he would be here, so he might as well. He's surprised the date rises in his mind, probably because he saw a calender as he walked by one of the shops. So he arrives the bonfire early, considered getting food... and then doesn't. He also considers offering to help some more here, but doesn't. He just curls his tail around himself and falls asleep at the side of the bonfire.
Which might not be the safest spot to anyone is free to wake him up or run into him as he's drowsily here in some other capacity]

Do you hear that. It's the sound of silent judgment and annoyed brotherly emotions being expressed simply through a very high pitched polishing sound right next to you.
It is also the sound of a cotton ball being dragged back and forth over a handgun with a pair of tweezers.
It is incredibly annoying.]

Waterlogged weapons are the worst things to have. Better clean them again.]
Don't roll over again. [Deadpan. There's a fire right next to you. Don't roll into it. Thanks.]

Watching him curled up by the fire asleep is kind of heartbreaking. She sighs, leaves him, comes back in a few minutes with a plate full of food and sits down beside him.
And maybe this counts as a breach of personal space and all, but he's seen her naked, so she feels okay about ruffling his hair to see if he's even remotely awake.]
Hey, mon, are you in there?

[Nearby, she decides he's really more of an older boy than a man, but more importantly...he has a tail. One that gives the occasional twitch as he continues to sleep, bringing it closer to the flames of the bonfire. Should she wake him up so he doesn't get burned?]
[After a short deliberation, she edges closer to his tail instead, and gently grabs it by the end, meaning to drape it over the opposite side of his waist, where it'll be safe from singeing.]

Speaking of demon brothers, Rin is probably the only reason Yukio is here in the first place. After running yourself ragged a little rest can go a long way. But no. He was stubborn and decided to come anyway. And now he's just sleeping here when he could have done that back home--!!
But no, enough of brothers and those wonderful brotherly relationship things. When not watching his brother and making sure he isn't going to be rolling into the fire Yukio will be sitting by the fire and enjoying the music. Maybe even socializing a little! Fitting in is good.]

Either way, time to play hostess and meet someone new! Yay~]
Hi, there. How are you doing?

[It wouldn't be very party guest-y to just come along and start going on about how rough he's had it these past few days. Fine is fine.]
Would I be right in saying you're the host here? I'm sorry for just showing up like this. [He wasn't exactly invited after all and just came here to stop Rin from infecting people with the stupid.]

Anxieties have drained him, and it must show on his face as he shuts his eyes and takes a moment to breathe, grateful to be alive and unscathed for the most part. Now if only he could say this of all his friends...
This party is a much needed diversion, and he greatly admires Anita's strength and resolve for going through with it. Hopefully they will all find some semblance of peace.
Oh... if he ends up nodding off, it's alright to give him a poke!]

So she feels like she owes him a lot for showing up to help, especially considering how tired he was. Also, he looks exhausted, so she elects to make him up a plate of food and take it to him, just in case it helps.]
Hey, mon. I just wanted to thank you again for your help. I don't really know how we pulled this off.
no subject
Y'welcome. But, y'know, you did most a' the work... all I did was get a bunch a' sticks t'gether.
[He supposes that the plate in her hands is for her, and doesn't mind in the least. After all, a hostess had to find some time to eat amid the scramble to ensure others were satisfied and comfortable.]

[Whoops. That last part is hard to remember, since she was relatively free to go where she pleased back home. As she starts to survey some of the storm damage and colossal mud puddles in the village, she gradually drifts farther and farther away from House 6.]
[Then, in the distance, she sees a reflected orange glow on the side of a large building. Curious, she heads in that direction. The closer she gets, the more sure she is that it's a fire she's seeing, and a small part of her begins to worry that someone's house is burning and she's the only one who noticed.]
[It's with relief, then, that she finally gets a clear look at the source. A bonfire! And is that music starting up? Someone must be having a party!]
no subject
Hey, sweetie. How are you?
no subject
Oh! Hi! [She waves, trying to remember the lady's name. Ur. It started with an 'A', maybe...]
Whose party is this? Is it okay if I come, too? ...I don't have a present or anything. [She feels compelled to confess that, though she's not sure if this is the kind of party that requires presents.]

Sorry I'm late, everyone! I was busy fighting for my life in space. [ The lack of gravity really made it hard to accurately throw her weapons. ): ]

[Anita isn't huge on personal space, so hopefully Tenten doesn't mind a brief and ginger hug, mindful of the possibly injuries.]
